Secret Glances and Shy Smiles

Secret glances and shy smiles,

Touch of a hand and then you feel time flies.

Looking at you with the corner of my eye,

Feeling that tingle whenever you say my name,

You’ve got a smile that makes me feel overwhelmed without fail.

The cologne you wear and that grey sweater you have,

The jokes you make and the “oh I don’t like him” expression I fake,

I’ll wait for the day,

We sit together looking deep into each other’s eyes,

Silent but having so much to say.
